Our Christian Ethos

A Prayer Tree gave children the opportuinity to leave a prayer for friends as part of our whole-school Value for Life: 'Friendship'

Boxford is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School. Our Christian values form part of our curriculum planning in order to structure and allow opportunity for exploration by all students. Our approach is very open - we encourage children to consider their beliefs in a range of contexts, both within R.E. lessons and in our collective worship assemblies.

We study the full range of world religions and allow children to consider their own perspectives and ideas of faith.

Children experience Christian festivals through a range of services at various times of the year. These include Easter, Harvest and Christmas Services which all aim to be interactive, reflective and celebratory. Led by Reverend Judith of Boxford Church, we are fortunate to offer such a creative and thought-provoking programme of learning and worship.
