FoBS
Who are we?
Welcome to the Friends of Boxford School (FoBS). For those new to our community, FoBS is the Parent Teacher Association. We are a group of parent volunteers that organise fundraising events throughout the year, raising money to enrich the experience of the children at Boxford School.
What has FoBS funded?
Over the years, we have raised money to fund:
- the creation of the library area,
- class ipads,
- whiteboards in all the classrooms,
- a pottery kiln,
- an outdoor classroom,
- school trips
- and an all-weather bicycle shelter.
Our most recent project was completed during the 2021 summer break, the completion of a fabulous library renovation project. The room is now bright and spacious, and all our wonderful books are now invitingly on display to encourage all our budding book worms. What can you do?
Anyone with a child at Boxford School is part of FoBS. The level of participation in the events and decision-making is down to you. Just by attending one of our events, donating prizes, buying raffle tickets, or purchasing a book bag helps us to raise funds for the school. We’d love to welcome new members, please email talktofobs@gmail.com if you’d like to join or would like further information on our events and how you can help.
